Sorry to come a bit late to this issue. Last week in Budapest was very busy and I came back yesterday from there. I will work on the way to approach dissemination later this week and will provide some guidance by the end of the week, specially about
· The approach of FIWARE to collaboration and dissemination (for dissemination I need to get in touch with you, since Telefonica is leader of communication and dissemination),
· List of events,
· The way to coordinate, validate, organize and report the activities
Sorry for the inconveniences and meanwhile I would like to know if it is possible to get some information about the Dissemination Working Group of the FI PPP (coordinated by CONCORD) whose first informal meeting took place last Thursday in Budapest (apologies if you already sent some info on that and I missed it).

As you know, the event that is indicated in the coming mail is very relevant for Fi-WARE.
I wonder if any of you are planning to attend. If so, it would be reasonable you make a presentation in the name of the project. If nobody has planned to attend, we would need to decide who is attending. As you remember, it would be unreasonable to assume Telefonica has to do it everywhere.
I would like to ask Nuria for the current list of events and we could try to share the load.

Time has come to register, if not yet done, for the "Internet and Societies: new innovation paths" forward-looking high-level conference organized by the PARADISO FP7 project at the European Commission in Brussels (Charlemagne building), on September 7-9, 2011.
The event is free of charge but early registration (to be made online) is recommendedbecause of limited room capacity at the venue.
The draft agenda of the conference has just been released:
? The event will start on September 7, 2011 at 18:30 with a cocktail reception and a keynote speech.
? Ms Neelie Kroes, VP of the European Commission and European Digital Agenda Commissioner, will open the conference on Sept. 8 at 9:30. Then, keynote speakers from Europe and the rest of the world will share their visions of the foreseeable interactions between Internet and societal developments and of related new innovation paths. PARADISO recommendations on research to be developed under FP8 will be presented as well.
? On Sept. 9, participants are invited to a workshop, during which the event topics will be openly discussed, in order that event conclusions and recommended next steps can be based on contributions from the largest number of stakeholders.

About the PARADISO project
CONTEXT
In a world of accelerating changes, and at a time when economic, social, and environmental risks of breakdowns are in sight, forward-looking approaches are of paramount importance. This applies in particular to the development of the Internet, which can not only impact and transform societies in the long term but has also to be adapted to the needs of tomorrow's societies particularly if societal paradigm shifts are envisioned and if a true sustainable future istargeted.
OBJECTIVE
The PARADISO project has explored the foreseeable interactions between Internet and societal developments in the next decades, identified new innovation paths, and suggested recommendations on research to be developed under FP8. In the light of this work it has been preparing a CALL FOR ACTION, addressing in particular the need of EXPLORING THE INTERNET AT ITS LIMITS.
STAKEHOLDERS
The PARADISO2 project is a support action in the portfolio of the FIRE Unit of European Commission's DG Infso. It includes in its partnership the Club of Rome (www.clubofrome.org <http://www.clubofrome.org> ) and Sigma Orionis (www.sigma-orionis.com <http://www.sigma-orionis.com> ), and benefits from the involvement of a high-level expert panel, composed of over 30 experts from Europe and other parts of the world.
