[Fiware-roadmap-robotics] Confcall of the Robotics FIWARE Tech Roadmap WG

Dear all,

   After conversations with several of you, we would like to propose a 
confcall of the Robotics FIWARE Tech Roadmap WG.

   Target goal would be to exchange on status of relevant activities 
carried out and proposals regarding paths moving forward in FIWARE by 
the different groups, identify joint collaboration opportunities and 
discuss how we may progress towards a common position paper on FIWARE 
for robotics.

   A draft agenda may look as follows:

  * Round of 15' Presentations:
      o TIS on work towards definition of common information models for
        robotics (TIS representative)
      o Presentation on activities linked to the DIH^2 project (FIWARE
        Foundation)
      o Presentation on ROS2 integration server and micro-ROS activities
        (eProsima)
      o Anything from IML Fraunhofer?
      o Anything from Atos?
  * Open discussion, identification of actions
  * Confirmation of speakers at the Summit

   We would like to propose September 24 or 25 from 07:30am to 09:00am 
or September 26 from 08:00am to 09:30am.  Please cast your preference in

   Last but not least, I would like to point out that a session on "AI 
and robotics" has been planned as part of the "Trends and Disruptive 
Future" track of the FIWARE Summit that will take place on October 23-24 
in Berlin.    That session will take place in the afternoon of October 
23 and will last aprox. 2 hours to be split first half for presentations 
and second half for open discussion.   Please book the date in your 
agendas.  We look for your attendance and active participation in the 
session.
