[Fiware-smart-cities-dc] Smart Cities Domain Committee confcall and meeting end of September in Málaga

Dear members of the Smart Cities Domain Committee,

   There have been quite interesting developments regarding FIWARE in 
the Smart Cities domain we want to share with you, plus also activities 
we would like to plan involving members of the FIWARE Community targeted 
to positioning FIWARE even further as a reference in this domain.   Of 
course, also receive your feedback about concrete activities we shall 
support.

   For this purpose, we would like to plan a confcall of the Smart 
Cities Domain Committee during the last week of August or first week o 
September.   Meeting will be from 13:00 to 14:30 trying to be able to 
accommodate the different time zones for members across the world.  In 
order to select the concrete dates for such confcall, please complete

   On the other hand and since we can't wait to see you back and meet 
face-to-face in 2020, we also invite you to join us between September 
28th and October 1st in Málaga.   There is an interesting side event we 
are organizing parallel to the Green Cities event that takes place on 
September 30 (starting at 09:00 CET) until October 1st (closing at 15:00 
CET) which would cover topics such as:

  * Smart Data Models: supporting interoperability in Cities and across
    domains
  * Smart Destinations (subject to integration with the previous, TBD)
  *  From Open Data to Data Marketplaces: laying down the foundations
    for a Data Economy
  * Blockchain/DLTs for Public Administrations: transparency and
    certification of processes
  * Applying AI for solving challenges in Smart Cities

   A meeting to follow up on the Action Plan to be agreed during the 
confcall last week of August / first week of September will take place 
either before (early morning of September 30th) or after the end of this 
side event (time still to be decided).

   Meetings of several FIWARE Tech Roadmap Working Groups 
(Blockchain/DLTs, Artificial Intelligence, Data Sharing and Trading, 
Robotics) as well as a workshop involving projects of the ICT4Water 
cluster are planned on September 29th.  We believe there may be of 
interest to you.

   Since there will be these and other meetings happening under the same 
roof (peer to peer, meetings of other Mission Support Committees), we'd 
like to know if you are willing to travel to Málaga (Spain) between 28 
September and 1 October, in order to help us to manage this encounter in 
an effective manner.   For this purpose, we kindly ask you to complete
