FIWARE has been very active from the beginning in Brasil.
* A Brazilian university has been involved in the deployment of a FIWARE Lab node. This activity is not finished yet.
* At least there have been two editions of Campus Party where important challenges and hackathons, and workshops have been carried out around FIWARE technologies.
* There are several cities that have joined the Open and Agile Smart Cities initiative, where some FIWARE technologies are promoted. http://connectedsmartcities.eu/open-and-agile-smart-cities/ . I am a master´s degree student at Federal University of Parana (UFPR) and I would like to know if there is any  representative or company here in Brazil who I can contact. Your plataform seems very important to my research because my thesis will approach Smart City, in particular for brazilian market. Are there any iniciative to bring FI-WARE expertise to Brazil?
