"Hola Nuno,

My name is Daniel and we are participating in Soul-Fi round A2 with our
startup Ususty. We develop smart-city waste management solutions and are
developing a hybrid Fi-ware AWS cloud architecture for both of our
products. I’ve attached our one-pagers here for reference.

We have signed a pilot agreement with MetroSantiago and three other
sponsoring companies to do a phone-recollection pilot in the local Metro
starting with 5 smart-collectors, and if it is successful there will be
smart-bins in all metro stations throughout Santiago which use Fi-Ware
technologies. We are also doing an activation on FIIS (festival
internacional de innovacion social - www.fiis.org) and Sonar Sound Santiago
D-stage (https://sonarsoundsantiago.com/es/2015/) with our Ewa collector.

Also we are in the middle of finalising a pilot agreement with a local
recycling company (Puntos Limpios / Tricicla) and with one of the largest
university (Universidad Catolica) with our Green Beetle product, to measure
recycled waste real time at drop-off points and to do a competition between
two campuses using the captured data.

The reason I’m writing to you, is that I think that - in case there is
interest on the your / organisers side - these could be interesting
case-studies to share with the Fi-Ware community at Hamburg. Possible key
messages could be: Fi-ware success story outside of Europe / in LATAM,
smart-city sustainability solutions using Fi-ware, Fi-ware as the vessel of
urban life change.. etc.
