Hi My name is Alvaro Viegas, I am writing to you from LIN Architects Urbanists Berlin/Paris, this is regard to our workshop and Panel at the  Istanbul Design Biennial and  world intelligent cities summit at Istanbul on Dec 10-11.

We are organizing a workshop and Panel on Smart Cities, and would like to invite someone from FIWARE to join us at this event.
We think it will be a great showcase on neighborhood content management for the future of Istanbul neighbourhoods. Would be great if someone could present FIWARE and its benefits.

Following the Istanbul Design Biennial's call of making propositions for developing the future Istanbul as Smart City, Istanbul Bilgi University, the Institute for Information Design Japan, and LIN architects Berlin/Paris teamed up to propose a visible Urban Manifest firmly anchored in the city's neighborhoods: a mesh of interconnected local Information Hubs at strategically selected public locations that initiate, support, and facilitate local communications.

The Istanbul Design Biennial offers the opportunity to discuss and develop this Manifest to prepare for concrete implementation.

A one-day workshop in collaboration with TAK - Design Atelier Kadiköy, invites young creators, business developers, communal activists, and local government strategists to explore three different views on Istanbul Smart City Information Hubs together with invited international experts.

A follow-up panel, co-organized with the World Intelligent Cities Summit 2014, will review the workshop's findings and have acclaimed authorities on Smart City developments present use-cases from around the world.
