Thank you for this prompt reply.  I am sending attached a draft program, which can indicate for you the general idea. The targeted audience encompasses startups and SMEs, the Bulgarian SME agency (the 1st panel will be moderated by their representative), relevant institutional representation (special guests from the Ministry of economy and Ministry of energy), branch associations representatives, representatives from thematic clusters (ICT cluster, for example), NGOs, engineers and architects, university management representatives and representatives from the Bulgarian Academy of science.

What I envisage as FIWARE participation is a speaker who will introduce the initiative, plus information about the profile of the companies (startups) FIWARE targets and the benefits for such companies, described shortly. Please refer to the attached draft program to see when the planned slot for the presentation is. The FIWARE representative will have the opportunity to meet with business, academia, NGO and institutions representatives formally and possibly in an informal manner should they decide to schedule meetings ouside the program/event. There is a Q&A session following the last presentation of the panel.

This is an introduction opportunity for FIWARE in my view. The format of the event is meant to put a focus on awareness raising on opportunities and practical experience shared (2nd panel). If we deliver on this firs mutual initiative we can consider organizing future events where FIWARE can be presented with opportunities to present to selected business audience, participate in thematic workshops to better visualize its practices and mechanism and present at B2B and thematic events from the calendar of Sofia Tech Park for 2016.

We understand that you may need some representative from FIWARE to be at the event. Were you thinking in just a presentation? Or you would like to include in your in offering the FIWARE technologies so GEs can be used for developers to test and promote/use FIWARE  in deeper sense?

Dear FIWARE team,

Sofia Tech Park JSC<http://sofiatech.bg/en/> is organizing an event on the topic of business development and financing/funding opportunities for startups and SMEs from the energy efficiency (and ICT in energy efficiency) and smart grids. The one-day event will be held at Hilton<http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/bulgaria/hilton-sofia-SOFHIHI/index.html>, Sofia on 29 September.

I would like to formally invite a FIWARE representative to speak at the event and present the initiative to Bulgarian companies. Before sending a formal invitation I would need you feedback on a few points. Please keep in mind the science and technology park (Sofia Tech Park) features an incubator for startups and SMEs which is a reason to discuss possible cooperation with FIWARE starting 2016.

In regard to the event, what I envisage is a 15-20 min presentation – an overview of the initiative plus information about the profile of the companies (startups) FIWARE targets and the benefits for such companies, described shortly.

Please let me know what is your practice in regard to such invitations and events, and if you have any specific requirements and/or requests. We could then discuss the details and I could formally send an invitation. Upon your confirmation I will send to the assigned contact person a draft program and a general profile of the targeted audience.
