[Fiware-speakers-request] Collaboration with FIWARE and speaker request

Thanks for your proposal. From FIWARE we are open to collaborate and promote the use of FIWARE platform http://www.fiware.org/  as much as possible. So, we need to evaluate if we can commit resources but if you are willing to use FIWARE GEs if you are willing to use FIWARE GEs http://catalogue.fiware.org/ you can check these here.

We need to see if we can find someone to attend the Cyprus event. We’ve shared this information with our partners. However, we need to openly say that we receive a lot of proposals to participate all over so, we suggest if could join us in our developers week  (free of charge) or any other event, you can get more information here: http://www.fiware.org/events/ for training about FIWARE. This is more effective and pragmatic approach we offer usually.


And about your questions on how to cooperate and sign an agreement, or how to contribute to FIWARE, the answer is different. We are setting up the “rules” but this will happen in coming months, when are now drafting our governance rules etc. This is now under internal discussion but this is one of our key goals and an serious commitment for FIWARE so we hope to have more news soon.

Dear FIWARE colleagues,



We would like to query about the possibilities of collaboration with FIWARE with regards to promoting participation of startups from Cyprus at FIWARE Accelerator projects. Our company  CYRIC - Cyprus Research and Innovation Center manages non-profit initiative YuBiz www.yubiz.org<http://www.yubiz.org> : Youth Business and Entrepreneurship Support Platform.



As a first step we would like to invite a speaker to provide an introductory tutorial, preferably technical introduction on tools and enables of FIWARE technologies. Ideally, this could happen at your earliest convenience, so that we don't miss most upcoming Accelerator deadlines.



Secondly, we would like to know what type of partnerships can be discussed with FIWARE representatives, e.g. an MoU or other type of agreement.
