Don’t miss the smart city workshop given by leaders in the field

Want to know more about how Rotterdam’s creating its digital twin in the form of a 3D model? And how they intends using this model in the city’s future development? How the Swedish city of Umeå is using gamification to motivate tenants to save energy? How Glasgow is building infrastructure for charging up electric vehicles?

These and other projects will be presented directly by those involved at the unique workshop “LEARNING FROM THE MOST INNOVATIVE”, which will take place as part of the programme for the URBIS Smart City Fair 2019 on 5th June 2019. This so-called “replication” workshop is being held in conjunction with the General Assembly meeting of the RUGGEDISED project in Brno, Czech Republic.

The RUGGEDISED project is part of the Horizon 2020 Smart Cities and Communities Lighthouse Projects, which focuses on the construction of smart districts and implementation of innovative projects across Europe.

The host city of Brno will present its two successful and appreciated projects: The electronic identity of the citizens of Brno - BrnoID The Brno Data Portal Other interesting projects, detailed workshop program and the opportunity to register for it can be found HERE.
