Dear Juanjo, Angeles and all,

I cannot modify the online Google doc with the pre-minutes (just asked
for an authorization), therefore I am sending the Mundus contribution
with this email to all. Angeles please insert that contribution
(otherwise I will do it as soon as I have the right to modify the GDoc
file), prior to the telco that will start in about 10 minutes:

- We are not planning any specific international panel or session this
time in the 2nd FIWARE Summit. We will rather target the 3rd FIWARE
Summit that is currently planned in November 2017. This decision has
been communicated and agreed upon with FIWARE Mexico and SmartSDK already.

- From the Mundus perspective we are however interested in potentially
contributing to the parallel tracks on Smart Cities and Smart Agrifood.
For Smart Cities we offer to present the status of pilot trials using
FIWARE in the US, in Africa (we may have a guest from Senegal, tbc), and
in China; and for Smart Agrifood, in cooperation with IoF2020, we shall
have a Canadian speaker who will present the pilot trial they are
planning to perform with FIWARE.

- We would like to announce asap the meeting of the Mundus Committee
meeting that shall be held on 29 May and thus would like to agree asap
on the start and end time. Considering that it is a Monday and Utrecht
is not necessarily the easiest place to reach, we suggest e.g. 12.00 or
13.00 to 17.00 or 18.00. We suggest to start e.g. for 1 hour with a
common meeting among the three Committees for coordination and
interaction, and then proceed with parallel meetings (we could also do
it the other way around i.e. start with the parallel meetings and then
have a common meeting). The issues that we would like to address during
the Mundus Committee meeting are:

+ Presentation of the Mundus Committee mission charter -feedback and
discussion
+ Coordination on the list of events at international level
-confirmation of the list of events to attend and contribute to; central
place to list and advertise the FIWARE related events
+ Presentation of FIWARE pilot trials being investigated for Smart
Cities and Smart Agrifood; what about Industry 4.0?
+ Status of FIWARE nodes and instances set up around the world;
discussion on how to promote more, potential relation with iHubs (shall
we promote iHubs outside Europe), etc.
+ Presentation of FIWARE related commercial activities around the world:
discussion on how to better promote the commercial actions, what support
from the Foundation is to be expected (if any), etc.
+ Discussion on relevant members and/or guests to be invited into the
Mundus Committee: who shall be invited to join, how to engage them,
shall they join as members or shall we invite some as observers, etc.
+ Agree on next steps and preliminary work plan for the Mundus Committee
+ AOB

Other ideas welcome of course. Talk to you in a few minutes.

Best regards,

Jacques
