[Fiware-summit-program-committee] FIWARE Global Summit Next Committee Meetings

Dear committee members,

For those that couldn't join our Summit call last Friday 3rd at 13:00 PM
just to inform on the decision of pushing our *physical FIWARE Global
Summit* to a more mid-year period in order to allow all those who are
currently suffering from travel and meeting restrictions and those being
unsure about further Covid-measures upcoming to attend however.

After a successful experience at the ITS World Congress in Hamburg, Salon
des Maires in Paris and SCEWC in Barcelona, we were very positive to have
picked the perfect moment for a face-to-face meeting and at a fantastic
location. The COVID situation in most of European parts and beyond is
however becoming again more difficult, so that we will slightly adopt our
planning:

   - *Jan 19-20:* FIWARE Smart FEST (digital), with the major topic "Data
   Spaces"
   - *Ca. mid 2022*: FIWARE Global Summit (physical), Gran Canaria

The Event Team will use the following days to understand how to best secure
our work already put in place and just use it for the next dates.

Meanwhile, those with tickets already please keep them, while we are
finding together with the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and La Palma a new date.

*IMPORTANT*: *we are keeping our planned next Committee meetings on
December 10th and January 7th to keep you updated on the next steps /
actions.*
