(a)    For NEC, please add myself as representative

(b)   Regarding participation, as NEC has 1 PM, we plan to spend that 1 PM on
"real work" for exploitation and standardization. Please understand that we
try to avoid being in every WP11 PhC/F2F meeting
(overhead compared to PMs available), so it would be nice if you can indicate in invitation eMails who is expected to participate.

For concrete work,

-          our researchers have regular interactions with the our ETSI M2M, BBF (Broadband Forum), and OMA delegates. We for sure will bring in FI-Ware topics and also transfer standard activities into FI-Ware .

-          we can help in market analysis for M2M/IoT

I assume collaboration with other projects is WP12?

Dear partners,

First of all thanks to all of you for the useful discussions we had last week in Madrid in the context of the FIWARE KOM.

Since Telefonica is setting up all the mailing lists of the project I would like to take advantage of this e-mail to remind ALL partners about the relevance of Exploitation in the project and the need to update the corresponding mailing list accordingly.

This is not a standard project, and the PPP will be assessed based on the IMPACT of the projects. In this context "impact" means more than ever the capacity to go to the real market with our results. You heard the presentation of Arian, our PO, and the expectations they have put on the PPP in general and the Core Platform (FIWARE) in particular.

Because of that it is of utmost importance that WP11 is well aligned with all the other WPs. For this I asked the coordinator in the PCC meeting to involve WP11 in the overall discussions of the project (not isolating this WP and some others from WP3-9).

Besides that, we need all partners to appoint the right person in their organizations to be the contact person in WP11. Send these details to Telefonica and us so that we can start working in WP11 as soon as possible.
