Initial Comment:
Assuming that there is a periodic backup of the whole platform (webpage + forge), we should restore a whole backup to test that everything is safely recovered. This could be made in conjunction with ticket 415 ("Create a preproduction instance ")

Message:
hi, backups were tested last December of 2011. In any case I have tested them again right know and backups are being done every night. We backup forge and blogs database, configuration files, homes, mailman (mailing lists), file uploads (releases) and subversion repositories.
