The error I am getting is: Authorization Required This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/2.2.14 (Ubuntu) Server at forge.fi-ware.eu Port 443 I use my user name (marcel) and the FI-WARE password. I haven't tried accessing in other ways, e.g. Eclipse - how can I do that? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marcel Zalmanovici (marcel) Date: 2012-03-20 16:47 Message: The problem is not cached password. I have tried accessing SVN from FireFox as well and still got the error. Closing and reopening IE didn't help. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Roberto Andradas Izquierdo (randradas) Date: 2012-03-20 16:35 Message: I would like to add that SCM navigation is completely different to access the respository directly with the URL. The SCM repository does not use the user permission. When you use SCM navigation in the forge web sie it is an internal system user who access the repository and it is not related with the user you use to browse the forge. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Roberto Andradas Izquierdo (randradas) Date: 2012-03-20 16:33 Message: I tested it with a testing user added to Tools as "Seniro developer" and it works. When you put that URL the browser will ask you for an user and password, you should use your forge user/pasword. If it shows you directly a "forbidden" then close your brower (it caches the incorrect user and password), open it again, go to the URL (https://forge.fi-ware.eu/scmrepos/svn/tools/trunk/deliverables/), put your forge user/password and it should works. Your user is configured correctly in the system, permissions are like the rest of the senior developers of the project and I tested it with a generic user and it worked so I'm afraid the problem is on your side. In any case, please let me know whether it works for you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Miguel Carrillo (mcp) Date: 2012-03-20 15:44 Message: Thel ink that fails is : https://forge.fi-ware.eu/scmrepos/svn/tools/trunk/deliverables/FI-WARE%20DevComE%20Methodology%20v1.0.odt I actually experience a problem with this one as well, I am not sure that it is the same one(internet explorer complains about an invalid character in the ruote). however, if I navigate on the SCM and use "Save as" on the link, it works. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Davide Dalle Carbonare (davide) Date: 2012-03-20 14:25 Message: just let me add that Marcel is trying to access the SVN of the Tools project, and the other project members don't have problems doing that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://forge.fi-ware.eu/tracker/?func=detail&atid=199&aid=1624&group_id=28
