As an example: - the FI-WARE public wiki might remain blank, - while the FI-WARE-Private could use light red as background, - the FI-WARE-PPP-Restricted light-blue etc. It would be nice to be able to set the background colour of chapter-private wikis too (maybe under control of the chapter owners). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Pierangelo Garino (p-garino) Date: 2013-03-11 10:34 Message: Hi Luis, I cannot access the FAQ wiki page you have created as I don't have the permissions. Is it possible to add this page to another wiki, accessible to at least the FI-WARE WP coords (e.g. the fiware-private wiki)? Maybe this can be agreed with Miguel. Changes are not visible to users without permission to edit the wiki. I'll have a look. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Pierangelo Garino (p-garino) Date: 2013-01-08 15:52 Message: Hi Luis, I tried to access the page you mentioned: https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fforgesupport/index.php/MediaWiki:Common.css In any case, when I get the permission error I can see the left side portion of the page with the menus and the fi-ware logo, but I don't see any color change. Is this visible only when you log in? Pier ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luis Cañas-Díaz (lcanas) Date: 2013-01-02 17:22 Message: any feedback appreciated :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luis Cañas-Díaz (lcanas) Date: 2012-12-29 12:59 Message: I've followed the instructions given by Throsten and I think we could change the background of the boxes on the left. I made a test with the wiki of the Support project. https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fforgesupport/index.php/MediaWiki:Common.css Check it out al let me know whether you want me to apply colors to different wikis or tell the leaders to do it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thorsten Sandfuchs (ths) Date: 2012-12-17 14:24 Message: Hi, there is a solution for this, it involves Common.Css for an example see: https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/apps/index.php/MediaWiki:Common.css On this SpecialPage you can change the layout of the particular wiki. Every user with admin-rights on a particular wiki is able to change this file... So we simplely would need a convention and the interested wiki-admins could adopt it. Best, Thorsten PS: similar holds true for javascript configuration on wiki basis: https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/apps/index.php/MediaWiki:Common.js ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luis Cañas-Díaz (lcanas) Date: 2012-12-03 19:44 Message: I've been googling a while and I'm afraid we do not have a clean way of doing what Pierangelo Garino suggests. 1. Our current platform shares database and CSS for all the wiki instances 2. Each Mediawiki instance has its own LocalSettins.php file, but it is not possible to set the background from that file 3. The only way to change the background is modifying the skin (CSS file). My suggestion is to modify the logo. If a project owner send us the logo we can set it up. I suggest to require that the new logo contains the FIWARE logo on top. My two cents. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Miguel Carrillo (mcp) Date: 2012-12-03 14:34 Message: Luis, can you please do a quick test on the support wiki? https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fforgesupport/index.php Once done (try light blue)I will show it to the submitter to see if this is ok. I will be on holidays for the rest of the week, I am in until today EOB (this ticket is not urgent, I am just making you aware of my availability). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Roberto Andradas Izquierdo (randradas) Date: 2012-07-27 11:17 Message: since we run differents configurations per wiki we can set a different skin per wiki. To do this we would have to create differentes skins, one per color and choose from the each wiki configuration file the suitable skin. These skins will be visible alond the whole wiki, I mean... the whole FI-WARE-Private would use light red as background and so on. I don't think I find problems changeing the background color so I think it can be done easily. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Miguel Carrillo (mcp) Date: 2012-07-27 09:07 Message: Please evaluate and check with me before applying ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://forge.fi-ware.eu/tracker/?func=detail&atid=199&aid=2215&group_id=28
