As the currently installed mediawiki/monobook theme has known bugs in firefox. See: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19557 One of the solutions, which worked for me in a different setup was to apply https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Code/MediaWiki/53141 on wikibits.js Issue is: Firefox applies a KHTML fix stylesheet, including this rule: #column-content { margin-left: 0; } Unfortunately this prevents the portlets from floating on the left; instead, they appear on the left but beneath the page content. Thanks for fixing this in all the forge-wikis. Other option would be to upgrade at least to mediawiki 0.18.x which probably is not an option for this installation.
