[Fiware-support] VERY IMPORTANT: Mail addresses

Hi,

   With the creation of the FIWARE Foundation, we need to be able to use 
some email addresses with the @fiware.org domain.

   This applies for people that would work for the FIWARE Foundation 
(e.g., juanjose.hierro at fiware.og) or to setup some "anonymous" email 
addresses that may not be a mailing list (e.g., press-office at fiware.org 
or cto at fiware.org)

   The FIWARE Foundation will be setup with headquarters in Berlin, 
Germany, although with a global footprint.  It will be created as any 
kind of startup, that meaning that we will have to hire all the 
infrastructures and collaborative tools (e.g., mail system, etc).

   It would be nice hearing your advice regarding what would be the more 
sustainable and cheap approach for setting up a mail system, given the 
fact that no staff of the FIWARE Foundation (at least from its very 
start) do own system admin skills.   I have heard that hiring a "Google 
Apps for Work" account would be a recommendable approach.

   I understand that @fiware.og email addresses can be setup linked to 
personal gmail accounts.  If we go for that temporary solution ... would 
it be easy to migrate existing accounts to the gmail system of the 
"Google Apps for Work" account we may hire ?
