[Fiware-sust-found] An important information that would affect the 3.2 working group

Dear WP3.2 partners,

The launch of the FIWARE community becomes an industry initiative. Indeed 4 Industrial partners decided to launch the open source community by end of June 2015 at the latest. The announce would be done during the Mobile World Congress by the first week of March.

Some deliverables and the timeline would be affected, but the need for some governance models (and related bylaws) would not change. I suggest also that we cancel the meeting (Sustainability workshop) that Pentti Launonen (Concord project) proposed until the announcement of the creation of the FIWARE community.

Dear partners, we are aware of that since the DOW have been launched some timelines and some content need to be adapted to current context. Once the announcement will be done by the industrial companies, our Sustainability Working group would be fitted to his new mission. In any case this mission would be aligned with the new objectives. Anyway, the academia relationship report and the course contents are not affected so far, neither would be the survey that Anne is working on as it remains useful (if not mandatory) in any case.

We should talk about that in our meeting on Thursday 3:00pm
