Dear Peter,

I can imagine. Then again, in this day and age every move is in realtime and dynamic and just like we set up IoT structures like Council and IoT Day long before most stakeholders understood what was happening, we now see that real world implementation might happen in the EU through FIWARE and thus if we want to ‘hardcode’ ethics, privacies, and co-created real world scenarios writing about them is not helping, we need to be in the infrastructure of thousands of companies building generic components and enablers. We also put certain issues of developers here on the agenda of the IERC that dealt with licensing, and lack of maker culture and SME coding for money for a livelihood and it became clear that an independent association is a necessity,
