dear all, yesterday morning i did submit the last version of the doa after some changes due to specific requests of the ec (mostly rewording and missing info they wanted to have in the doa). that version, which you can find in the sygma system, is now under contractualisation by the ec services. our po told me yesterday that if nothing strange happens in the very next days, the contract will be signed within november. this means, as specified in the sygma system, that the commencement date will 1st december 2016. honestly i think we can reasonably work under this assumption. so it is definitively time to plan the future. the first step is to have the fi-next kick-off meeting. my proposal is to have it on 13 dec co-located with the fiware summit (13-15 dec malaga). to avoid to bias the summit and in order to have an efficient kom, my idea is to have the meeting starting rigth after lunch, say at 14:00 lasting the whole afternoon. this way all of you can first attend the various parallel sessions of the summit in the morning as there will be sessions both technical (the various fiware chapter will have their sessions) and concerning the ecosystem supporting committees (e.g. fiware mundus, fiware accelerate, etc.). if really needed, but we will agree this together, we may have a debriefing kom session on 15th morning, lasting few hours. honestly i do not expect to much disagreement on the above as: 1. anyway this is a project activity and the project will start on 1st dec 2. attending the fiware summit is also a project activity 3. we all have enough time to plan the journey in malaga (this email is 28 days before the kom ...). so i'm assuming all of you will come and i'll be extremely happy to meet you all in malaga :-) ciao, stefano -- Stefano De Panfilis Chief Innovation Officer Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. via Riccardo Morandi 32 00148 Roma Italy tel (direct): +39-06-8759-4253 tel (secr.): +39-068307-4513 fax: +39-068307-4200 cell: +39-335-7542-567 skype: depa01 twitter: @depa01 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
