Hi all,

When starting an instance of the Proton engine (deploying the
ProtonOnWebServer.war) a default definition file is loaded. The path for
this file is configured in the configuration file
./webapps/ProtonOnWebServer/Proton.properties with the parameter
metadataFileName, by default it has the value DoSAttack2.json. This loads
the definition file /webapps/ProtonOnWebServer/DoSAttack2.json when
starting an engine instance.
Loading the file DoSAttack2.json a warning is shown, in the logs, due to an
non existing file ./config/input-for-dosAttack.txt:
"WARNING: initializeAdapters: failed to initialize adapter Input adapter
for producer: P1, reason: ./config/input-for-dosAttack.txt (No such file or
directory)"

As a sugestion, if EmptyDefinition.json is set the in metadataFileName
parameter (this is an empty definition file, that already exists in
the ProtonOnWebServer.war. This file is that located
at ./webapps/ProtonOnWebServer/EmptyDefinition.json) no warnings or
additional messages are generated (as expected) in the logs when starting a
Proton engine instance.

Best regards,
