[Fiware-tech-help] Practical Question - How to store persistent data in Fiware Object Store

Hi there!

thanks  for contacting us. My suggestion is to go the catalogue and look for the info there.

For instance:

  *   http://catalogue.fiware.org/enablers/object-storage-ge-fiware-implementation
  *   http://catalogue.fiware.org/enablers/application-mashup-wirecloud

The catalogue contains links to all relevant places (manuals, tutorial, source code...) and also the contact people. If you have concrete doubts (1 and 2 seems to go  in this direction) my suggestion is to contact the GE owners directly. They can provide the highest quality support we can provide.

Incidentally, I believe that object storage is going to be changed. The plan is to deprecate the CDMI interface at the end of April, and fully switch to the native Swift API . The Ge owner knows best ,anyway.

1. Persistent Store Can I create the persistent store using the FiWARE cloud portal.      When I have just tried to do this I get struck with understand exactly how to do this e.g. create containers, create objects, but then how to create an instance of this exactly.  Anything I can read/watch that teaches me how to do this?

2. Create a Front End - Can I use the wire cloud to do this?


Just want to make sure I’m on the right tracks…
