Responsible: fiware at ulpgc.es Tested GE(s): Backend Device Management - IDAS Instance: Local Environment: Operating System: CentOS 64bits version 5.8 Kernel Version: 2.6.18-308.el5 Links: http://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Backend_Device_Management_-_Installation_and_Administration_Guide Description: Following the installation and Administration guide we configured (and corrected) the file Entorno.sh, the file is attached to this issue with the name Entorno.sh. After activating it via source command, we proceeded to install the neoidas-bd-1.0-canis.release. rhel5.5.x86_64.rpm file with the following command: $ rpm -i --replacefiles neoidas-bd-1.0-canis.release.rhel5.5.x86_64.rpm > output The output we received on the command line makes us think that there is an issue with code of the rpm file: /export/open/IDAS/scripts/ start_mongos.sh: line 11: /root: is a directory exception: connect failed exception: connect failed /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.24465: line 70: syntax error near unexpected token `fi' /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.24465: line 70: `fi' error: %post(neoidas-bd-1.0-canis.release.rhel5.5.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 2 Therefore, we could install successfully the rpm file and could not continue installing the IDAS service. The output file has also been attached to the issue with the name output. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
