What do you have to do then if you want to program a new GE?

 

The amount of existing GE’s is – let’s be honest –restricted and therefore
can’t be used in many contexts.

If I had to make a ‘real’ project based on FIWare, the first thing that I
would do it write extra GE’s that were useful for my project and that could
be re-used afterwards in the FiWare catalogue.

I thought this was one of the main ideas about FiWare, pls correct me if I’m
wrong.

 

Or is it simply not possible to write new Generic Enablers?

As we talked earlier on the phone, our company Dreammachine would like to
know how we can create Generic Enablers for the Fi-Ware technology as we
would like to apply one of our projects to an open call.

For now, we tried to create an account on the catalogue.fi-ware.org
<http://catalogue.fi-ware.org>  website to gain access to the
edition/creation process of Generic Enablers, as it would benefit our
project and certainly other projects too. We didn’t get any  confirmation
email regarding our account request and we would like to know why and what
happened.

Can you provide us any more information regarding the procedure concerning
the creation of Generic Enablers  ?
