According to our last email, we have successfully installed Object Storage in our server and it is working right now without problems. However, we have seen that in lab.fiware.org there is an integration with Fi_lab, so there is a graphical interface to manage it. We already have a Fi-lab instance in our server with KeyRock running. Is there a way to link our recent installation of Object Storage with our own instance of Fi-Lab so we can manage it directly from Fi-lab or at least have a graphical interface? Kind regards. The FiWare Lab recently migrated to KeyStone. We recommend installing the standard OpenStack Swift release. Instructions are available at http://docs.openstack.org/developer/swift/howto_installmultinode.html. An experimental installation can be performed on a single VM following the instructions at http://docs.openstack.org/developer/swift/development_saio.html. Make sure that you provision sufficient storage for your needs. Since standard Swift uses 3-way replication, you need to have raw storage capacity equal to 3 times your expected usage. - Kalman From: Rafael Espinosa de los Monteros <respinosa at alzhup.com> To: Kalman Meth/Haifa/IBM at IBMIL, Ciro Acedo Boria <ciro.acedo at madridnetwork.org>, Adrian Gonzalez <a.gonzalez at neopsstudios.com>, Ilias Moreno Alui <contacto at iliasmoreno.com> Date: 15/07/2015 10:31 PM Subject: Questions on Object Storage - AlzhUp - FI-C3 Accelerator Dear Mr. Meth. My name is Rafael Espinosa, CEO of Reta al Alzheimer, one of the companies selected at Fi-C3 accelerator. Its a pleasure to meet you. As part of our 3Q milestones, we are starting to implement Object Storage GE for our platform AlzhUp (www.alzhup.com). We have been working during the past months with different enablers, (some SE and some GE), and we have managed to crate our own private server with Fi-Lab (we already have Keyrock SE running on it). We would like to do the same with Object Storage, that is, install it in our own private server instead of having to deal with different Fi-Ware nodes. We have been reading different public guides, checking that there is no info regarding the visual part of Fi-Lab & Object Storage, and we have also checked that the guides talk about installing Object Storage from scratch, but in our case we already have our Fi-Lab server with Keyrock running, so we do not know if the process is the same or we have to do something special... If you could give us some info or we can have a chat with you in order to know how to start the process of installing Object Storage in our server, that would be a great help. Kind regards. -- Rafael Espinosa de los Monteros Iglesias Founder m: +34 627 95 71 88 e: respinosa at alzhup.com w: www.alzhup.com / www.retaalzheimer.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
