> As one of world leading solar CSP and PV project developer/EPCs, ACS Cobra is certainly not missing South African solar cake. Together with its local partner Emvelo, ACS Cobra won the bid during Window 3 of REIPPPP to develop Ilanga 1 (100MW, 4.5h TES) parabolic trough project, which is expected to be operational by 2018. And earlier ACS Cobra also worked as EPC to join two PV projects Letsatsi and Lesedi (75MW*2) in South Africa.

> Getting back to the Window 3.5 of South African REIPPPP, Cobra and Emvelo joined the last round of competition; unfortunately, their candidate project Ilanga 2 (100MW, parabolic trough) was not selected. However, resources say Cobra and Emvelo don’t stop developing their Ilanga series CSP projects in South Africa, and they are also working on Ilanga 3 (150MW, parabolic trough).
