[Fiware-technical-committee] Candidature for the FIWARE TSC: individual representative

Dear all,

I would like to announce my candidature for the FIWARE
Technical Steering Committee (TSC) as individual member.

I have been a member of the Apps Chapter since 2012. In the past 4 years I
have led the development of WireCloud GEri. WireCloud is one of the most
active GEri in FIWARE, you can check it by browsing StackOverflow (
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/fiware-wirecloud) and the
Dockerhub's
stats (https://hub.docker.com/u/fiware/ &
https://hub.docker.com/r/wirecloud/). In addition, it is one of the most
used GEris among FIWARE-based projects, being the key piece of many
startups in the FIWARE Acceleration Program.

Apart from my full commitment in WireCloud development, I have been
involved in many cross chapter tasks due to the fact that WireCloud is
integrated with many of the GEs provided by FIWARE (e.g. Orion, Kurento,
KeyRock, CKAN, ...). I was also actively working on the Smart City Light
demo application integration effort, involving 19 GEris in all technical
chapters.

Finally, I have served FIWARE in a number of occasions as speaker and
evangelist
in many events, as well as acting as coach and jury member in hackathons
and challenges. Just to cite some: Campus Party London 2013 and Campus
Party Mexico 2015, Hack4good, FIWARE Smart Society Challenge, StartUp
Weekend FIWARE events, Madrid & Hamburg Developers Week.
