Hi Alessandro,

This is what I mean about the 3 levels of webinars:

Level 1 - Assume only knowledge of related concepts = Introduction

Example: We are going to play a new game, its called football, you need 11 players etc.

Level 2 - Assume knowledge of the introductory materials only = Teaching

Example: This is how to kick the ball, you use the instep, swing your leg and kick through etc.
This is how to take a penalty. This is how to make a throw-in.

Level 3 - Assume full knowledge of the use of the system, we need to improve their abilities = coaching.

Example: Tactics, Feints, Psycology, advanced training drills

The Knowage session I attended in Porto was effectively a level 1 - installation, getting started, simple stuff.
What is generally missing from our developer teaching materials is the more advanced stuff -i.e. you know
how to use this, here is how to get it to work more effectively.

You are correct in that the audience for intermediate and advanced topics is always going to be smaller - it really is
narrowcasting. The advantage of running this as a recorded session is that it really doesn’t matter if the limited audience
doesn’t make it for the live broadcast. However, according to the statistics I have from slideshare, the more advanced
stuff actually gets more views over time than the basic introductions.

Here are the slide from a some real-life examples, accessible on my linked in profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-fox-8a79563/ <https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-fox-8a79563/>
each of these webinars was 1 hour long (which is too long in my opinion) - 20-30 minutes would make more sense.

1) Introduction Level

Presentation introducing the basic skills of displaying and interacting with a map, including zooming and panning. The session also describes how to add content, icons, and markers to take advantage of the API’s versatile event-handling system Slides from a webinar for Nokia Developer

Covers the installation and offers a basic use case.

2a) Intermediate Level - Advanced Use Cases

This presentation details techniques and architectural choices for minimising the latency of your application when combining the HERE Maps API for Java™ ME with other web services. Slides from a webinar for Nokia Developer

https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-fox-8a79563/detail/treasury/summary/?entityUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_treasuryMedia%3A(ACoAAACsnn8Bumcv9SGAyv5rQ3UmyfRK9x7cTJM%2C1512205464741) <https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-fox-8a79563/detail/treasury/summary/?entityUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_treasuryMedia%3A(ACoAAACsnn8Bumcv9SGAyv5rQ3UmyfRK9x7cTJM%2C1512205464741)>

More advanced basic use cases - note how the first 2 slides over a basic re-cap before moving on.

2b) Intermediate Level - Optimize for touch

This presentation explains how to extend the basic UI of the HERE Maps API for Java™ ME. Learn how to build touch apps for Series 40 by creating and combining custom map components. Slides from a webinar for Nokia Developer

https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-fox-8a79563/detail/treasury/summary/?entityUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_treasuryMedia%3A(ACoAAACsnn8Bumcv9SGAyv5rQ3UmyfRK9x7cTJM%2C1512205465996) <https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-fox-8a79563/detail/treasury/summary/?entityUrn=urn:li:fs_treasuryMedia:(ACoAAACsnn8Bumcv9SGAyv5rQ3UmyfRK9x7cTJM,1512205465996)>

Assumes basic knowledge and focuses on one specific area to deepen the knowledge.

3) Advanced Level - Event driven components

This presentation explains how to extend users’ interaction with a map canvas beyond basic panning and zooming by using the HERE Maps API for Java ME to create custom map components. Slides from a webinar for Nokia Developer

This webinar had many fewer slides because the video (since removed by Microsoft) involved displaying and discussing the code
used to display the components. Assumption was that developers wre competent users of the system and needed coaching to improve
their code.
