Dear members of the FIWARE Community,

This mail is to announce the list of new FIWARE Technical Steering
Committee (TSC) members.

As mentioned in previous mails, the FIWARE TSC is the governance body
that drives technical direction of FIWARE.

We run election of representatives in the FIWARE TSC every year.
Following the bylaws, the FIWARE TSC is made up of:

  * one representative per Platinum member
  * two representatives per FIWARE technical chapter (11 chapters)
elected by the Chapter Active Contributors of each chapter
  * remarkable Individual Members elected by the Chapter Active
Contributors, up to one third of the number of chapter
    representatives plus Platinum Member representatives.

In order to determine the number of remarkable individuals to choose,
we considered the number of Platinum members listed at the date the
FIWARE TSC members election was launched, which was July 7th.  There
were 6 Platinum Members, therefore the total number of FIWARE TSC
representatives to elect were (platinum member representatives are not
elected but designated by each Platinum): 22 chapter representatives
plus (6 + 22)/3 = 9 remarkable individuals.  It is a large number of
seats and, because of that, it is great to see that there was so much
interest to participate as member of the FIWARE TSC.  This is a great
sign of endorsement of FIWARE TSC activities and the interest to
participate in the discussions that drive technical direction of FIWARE.

I'm glad to communicate the results fo these election, as follows:

open and everyone from the FIWARE Community is welcome to join.    You

As per today, meetings take place regularly every Monday from 10:30 to
12:30 CET.    We may consider changing this timeslot to another (e.g.,
easier for people in North America and Latam) if enough requests for
that are received.
