Hi

You obtain an error deploying the VM, since the flavor is not the right one (and there was a ImageTooLarge error). The image requires a special flavor, which is m1.WindowsBig. Try to deploy again with this flavor, and comment us the results.

Hi Hernar,

I tried already but it didn't work.
Here what I did :

  1.  Create Floating IP : Nova pool (130.206.81.201)
  2.  Verify my Keypairs
  3.  Edit Security Groups rules
  4.  Go to "Images" and click on "Launch" to the Windows 7 instance.
  5.  Insert instance name (INP_Simulator<http://cloud.testbed.fi-ware.org/#nova/instances/44e4e2b3-4b99-4375-a45d-97d9a1705a12/detail>)
  6.  Flavor : ml.small
  7.  Instance count : 1
  8.  Select Keypair (sanchjos)
  9.  Security group (default)
  10. Launch instance (Status : BUILD)
  11. I go to "Security" -> "Associate IP" -> "Select Instance" and I get an error "Error undefined. Cause: Unknown".
  12. I go to "Instances" and now the Status is ERROR.

I am not sure if I am doing it right, but I followed the steps from the video.
And I am not sure if the "Security Groups rules" can have an influence on this problem.

Thanks for contacting us. The error in the deployment of the VM is due to the lack of IPs in that testbed. I have release one of them and you could use it. Regarding the floating ips failure, try with the nova pool.

I am trying to create an instance, but I am getting all the time an error.
The instance data are:

Name: INP_Simulator
ID: 5cbe86ca-efda-4869-b5a8-f4412961b98a
RAM: 2048 MB
Status: ERROR
Image Name: Windows_7_64bit_Professional<http://cloud.testbed.fi-ware.org/#nova/images/346050a2-e40e-488a-a68a-3e71e7270875>

For the project FINESCE I would like to create an instance on Windows and after install "Scilab," in order to run simulations on-line. So, I would like to know what should I do?
