[Fiware-training] Thanks to all participants, ZHAW as an excellent host & link/placeholder for presentations/references

Dear Colleagues,

It has been a great experience to cooperate with all of you to strength the mutual understanding, potential links and co-creation of future collaboration opportunities in the context of the FI-PPP projects. We are glad to thank you all for making some room in your busy agendas and share your ongoing work with so much enthusiasm.
We are looking forward to implementing many of your suggestions for the second week and further initiatives. We will be circulating late today a quality-report survey for our internal records/statistics.

Specially, we would like to warmly thank the ZHAW university, as an excellent host providing us with all facilities and organizational efforts needed to prepare and run an event like this.
Annette, Thomas, really thanks for all your efforts. In the following days we will be claiming the billing addresses we were not able to collect there and ZHAW needs to process the fee payments.

Finally, we have built up a placeholder in the Fi-WARE public wiki, where presentations/references can be referenced:
 http://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/FI-PPP_Software_Architects_Week_Presentations_and_References

I am starting to upload myself in the afternoon/evening all files I received so far. For the remaining ones, please help yourself by following the instructions kindly provided by my colleague Miguel Carrillo:

"It is pretty easy. You can upload the documents to the docman system on the project FI-WARE and then link them to the wiki. As regards the access rights, it is a matter of making them private (if you want access restricted within the FI-PPP context, otherwise make them Public). Private means that an anonymous user on the internet will not be able to access them whereas anyone logged with a user in the forge will be able to download it.

Be aware that this is a 3-step process:
• Upload document to the docman of the FI-WARE project on the forge
• Make document private
• Link it to the wiki place holder

The tutorial is here (with a dedicated section to make docs private):
Please deposit all the docs on the directory called "Architects weeks materials" that I just created for this.

If you do not feel too confident about the privacy of this, you can make a test after uploading/making private + linking to the wiki. Just log off the forge and try to download it, you will not be able to do it if you have made it private".

Best regards,
--
