Hi, Well, I actually disagree here: Its an easy way to try out the SW and potentially modify the example. In FI-Content we are using the same scheme now to set up a Developer Playground which also allows people to edit the files online in the browser to try things out and share the results with others. I think its a really interesting way to allow people to easily play with things without requiering everyone to set up his/her own Web server.
