Just a pointer regarding the current asset pipeline tests that have been doing now and mentioned in the weekly: https://developer.blender.org/T41071 Basically started redoing with that proposed alternative (py written simple script) collada export Blender addon what we previously did with the current Blender Collada export (c++, uses opencollada) for glTF conversion in original fiware work. Just an export of the old optimized version of the original oulu3dlive nine-blocks scene again. Is simple to export from the master blend which composes the parts (that's also good so that the export script's blend library handling code gets tested) -- is still not that simple with the current expanded model but that's another story. It seemed to give geom fine - as in the previous test. I didn't get to test with textures yet, there some repeat mappings or so were not perfectly previously iirc (can be also due to how is set in Blender where the current confs are for the original Ogre3d exports of that). The source blends, linked from that blender task, are in the old zip .. the same that was already uploaded to 3drepo for xml3d.js viewing by DFKI folks I figure a year ago: http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~antont/download/oulu3dlive-lofi.zip I was checking BLAST and POP buffers (also thinking if those could be just used within the gltf umbrella if it'd make sense .. it does have an extensions mechanism for the binary data encodings or so) earlier and certainly testing those with the city model data is on the agenda. ~Toni
