Hi,

I prepared a very subjective essay on relative merits of POI Data
Provider and Orion Context Broker. It was suggested that the POI Data
Provider could be dropped, because the Orion Context Broker could do
the same. However, the aswer might not be so straightforward. There
are several considerations starting from multilingual support and
opening-time based filtering of results.

The comparison document for comments:

A demo POI browser for getting the idea:

There are already POIs imported from OpenStreetMap starting from
Saarland.

Example with POI browser:
Set
   Position: Saarbrucken
Categories: Click "+" before "Sustenance" to open the sublist
Select subitems to show pubs, cafes, bars. Control and Shift
     work regularly in category selection.
Hover on a POI to view the category and the name.
Left-click a POI to view the basic information. Some POIs have
a link to their own web page.
Right-click a POI to select "Edit this POI" to show the complete POI
data. Save or Delete operations do not success without specific
permissions. So, don't worry. There are some POIs in other categories
too. Work is going to import more POIs around.
