[Fiware-wg-leaders] [Fiware-chapter-architects] IMPORTANT: Developers Week in Vienna

Dear Juanjo and all,

After the previous develop week events, we got some feedback on the lab exercises. Some attendees told us that the lab exercise felt more like free time, and that it could have been more productive if the exercises were more structured.

Perhaps one way to approach this could be to have a structured time plan for the exercises, where all trainees work on the same exercise at the same time slot. Instructors could give step by step instructions, and check if all trainees are able to perform these steps in the given time.

What do you think? Would this be too difficult to organize?

  The third FIWARE Developers' Week will take place in Vienna (Wien), from May 26th to 29th.

  You may take a look at the current proposed draft agenda in the following link (check sheet named as "FIWARE Developers Week Vienna 26-29"):

  The venue where it will be hosted is also displayed in the sheet.

  Chapter leaders are asked to coordinate who will attend in order to support the training on slots linked to FIWARE GEs in their chapter.   We need this fixed by end of this week.

  Any change in the suggested agenda should be communicated as soon as possible so that it can be advertised on time.   Anyways, bear in mind that the agenda has been designed with a view on running Labs during the week, so teams should plan to travel not just for the day of their session.   In this respect, our advise is to book your travel and accomodation as soon as possible in order to get good prices for hotels and flights.

  We will discuss this topic during the weekly follow-up confcall this afternoon.
