Dear Juanjo, I also know from experience that the security is not a priority for an application developer. FI-WARE is no exception. A big evangelistic work to be done to demonstrate that security must be taken into account at the design time. It is in this way that we can ensure that the architecture will be secure, trusted and cyber resilient. It is a prerequisite for a successful market in IOT. In my honest opinion, attendance depends very much on the particular GE being analyzed. I can understand that UC projects in phase 1 are focused on those GEs that are more relevant or imply a higher impact in the way applications are designed/developed. In that respect, the Pub/Sub Context Broker GE or even the Cloud Edge GE are quite relevant because their usage can have huge impact in the Architecture that UC projects design in their applications. Security monitoring is something that I'm afraid is not so relevant for UC projects in phase 1 but UC Trials or the Capacity Building project in phase 2. In general because Security Monitoring is more relevant for a potential FI-WARE Instance Provider, or an application provider, but not for an application developer ... and I'm afraid that UC projects in phase 1 mostly care about needs of application developers. I can report the outcomes of the Cloud Edge webinars, the only ones concerning I2ND (along with Cloud) chapter so far: we had 13 attendants compared to 9 who were registered, so we had more attendants than expected! This means on the other hand that the registration is not a sufficiently precise tool (or it is not used in this way by UCPs...) as we would expect from our perspective. Can we keep track of actual participants to the webinars e.g. by means of another shared spreadsheet? Definitely, we should inform the AB about this. If you think we should raise the issue at SB level, I think this could be good. It is not serious we make an effort to inform and nobody from the UA attend the meetings. But of course, we should be sure this is a general problem and not limited to one or two audios. Do we have data about attendance to webinars? I must say very few attendance compared to what was expected (only two people were external to FI-WARE and Security Chapter). Something I think we can share with some others who organized webinars (even more that some webinars were cancelled due to few attendance). This happens despite my reminders to UC Projects for them to attend. This is even more disappointed that I did copy the invitation to wpl/wpa mailing and I must say that no one has joined. José who was attended could confirm you. As such I'm very concerned and we should not continue like this even more it has happened so far a number of times (at least within the Security chapter it happened for DH GE and DBA GE ...). In view of this I would ask you to take immediate actions using instruments we have at FI-WARE and FI-PPP level (AB meeting) and you find appropriate for this not to re-occur. Simply because organization of these webinars shouldn't be a waste of time and we definitely have to value them since important for Phase 1 & Phase 2 UC Projects (although not uniquely). Hope you can share and that you will react the way expected for those webinars to gain the audience they should deserve for success of FI-WARE and FI-PPP Programme.
