Dear partners,

I'm trying to fulfill my part for IoT in the related document and based on what you have previously written I have the following comments:

Some comments on the roles just to try to simplify the picture because too many roles would introduce confusion for the reader and this is typically what we have to avoid:

1. Application developer: one of the main trends is that everybody could be application developer based on Apps stores (Apple and Android). This dimension is missing in the role description and we should introduce it to clearly target SMEs and people as potential player for this role. If you agree I can improve this part. This would also emphasize a bit the application end users (end consumers) role for each chapter description

2. Service aggregator seems not relevant because if this role has to deliver something for specific requirements of niche End Users this is a dedicated Service provider

Some comments on the content per chapter:

1. Some of you are using the role descriptions as entry points to explain how 3rd parties will take benefit from what we will deliver, some other are using GE description. As I understand the guidelines role descriptions is the right entry point and we should avoid too technical descriptions regarding GE but explain how they are relevant to deliver an innovation, in other words try to imagine some FI-Ware scenarios to use several GEs for a new service/apps. The existing wiki is the place where we provide GEs description.

2. Developer roles are just mentioned in the Tools chapter... this I not really consistent with what we explained during the last review so from my perspective we should find these two roles in each chapter

General comment: where can we emphasize that developers could use GEs from several chapters and not only from one chapter: the global scenario for an Application developer for example?

Your comments are welcome because this document should be a first draft for marketing document to explain the relevance of FI-Ware project for the ICT ecosystem.
