Some changes that we would like to see: 1) The live demos (day 1, 10.30 – 12.15) need to go in detail with at least 3 GEs "in full", i.e. including the full set of documentation and other contents associated with that GE available at Month 18 plus relevant issues relating to implementation), in addition to the “live demos” already scheduled. The three (or more) GEs should be drawn from the chapters 3, 5 & 6 and should be the ones which have generated the greatest interest so far. So, for chapter 3 it would be the Mashup Factory or the Ericsson Composition Editor, for ch 5 it would be the Things Mgt GE or the CEP Mobile Manager (as the Backend Device Mgt GE is not available), and for ch 6 it would be Proactive Technology Online, the Context Awareness Platform, the Samson broker, or the Query Broker. The live demo we had planned was a demo in which we will explain how an example application can be designed based on the encompassing usage of several FI-WARE GEs coming from several chapters. That application makes extensive usage of GEs associated to the Apps, Data and IoT chapter at runtime and we will show it deployed on the FI-WARE Cloud and published/acquired through the FI-WARE Business Framework. It is a demo where we will walk through the several phases of the lifecycle of an application, covering the perspective of a developer, an application provider and, finally, target users. We will be able to show a number of FI-WARE GEs linked to the following chapters: * Cloud (the IaaS Cloud deployed on the FI-WARE Testbed will be presented and we will actually show the example demo application running on that Cloud) * Apps (Applications Mashup GE - WireCloud, Service Repository and Marketplace GEs) * Data (Publish/Subscribe Context Broker GE - Samson Broker) * IoT (IoT Gateway GEs illustrating interaction with actual devices) We honestly believe that the programmed demo provides much more value than standalone/separate demos of a series of FI-WARE GEs. Of course, we may explore available documentation, etc of each of the GEs shown in this demo. Besides, if you are still interested, we may book some timeslot for standalone demos on some of the GEs you propose. We have checked availability of owners of those GEis during these days but in such a short notice we only got confirmation regarding the CEP Mobile Manager and the PROactive Technology ONline (PROTON). Please note that regarding composition technologies covered in the Apps chapter, we wouldn't consider that the Mashup Factory or the Ericsson Composition Editor would qualify better than the Application Mashup GE - WireCloud. Actually, none of the UC projects have declared that they have already incorporated neither the Mashup Factory nor the Ericsson Composition Editor in their current design. They have just declared that they wish to experiment with the technology (which, to some extend, comes for free). On the other hand, we have got confirmation of one UC project (Finest), and a rather positive feedback from another one (Outsmart), regarding incorporation of the Applications Mashup GE - WireCloud in their design. Therefore, if we keep the live demo application we had programmed, and then add the demos on the CEP Mobile Manager and PROTON, the requirement to cover FI-WARE GEis in the Apps, Data and IoT chapters which have generated the greatest interest but also major commitment so far, would be met. See comments later on regarding timing adjustments that may help to accommodate the revision of the full set of documentation of FI-WARE GEis shown at the example application demo as well as to be able to incorporate the additional demos of the CEP Mobile Manager and PROTON. 2) Somewhere in the agenda the latest status of GE take-up by the Use Cases, the consortium members themselves, and potentially additional interests elsewhere needs to be presented. Latest status of GE take-up by the Use Cases is going to be covered in the presentation about status of checkpoint 2 (Public availability of a matrix of Use Cases using the GEs; continuous update of the matrix). We will also cover feedback on usage of the Testbed by UC projects in the presentation about status of checkpoint 6 (Testbed in operation, feedback from UC projects on using the Testbed, and potential integration with FIRE infrastructures) The rest is covered in the slot about Exploitation. Therefore, the current agenda doesn't need to be changed in this respect. 3) Third Party Innovation Enablement is a key deliverable and needs to be presented. This deliverable is covered in the presentation on Business Value of FI-WARE. Again, we feel that the current agenda doesn't need to be changed in this respect. 4) Testbed and testing deliverables are also important and should be presented. It would be good to know how the Test bed actually supports some of the non-functional capabilities that are listed in the first release in the Technical Roadmap 5) A summary of the status of the validation of the GEs from the Use Cases and how this is checked back against the requirements needs to be presented. These points are going to be covered in the presentation about status of checkpoint 6 (Testbed in operation, feedback from UC projects on using the Testbed, and potential integration with FIRE infrastructures) 6) The Closing Statements should include a presentation of Outlook for FI-WARE from the consortium’s viewpoint. Fine. 7) To accommodate the above items, Day 2 could end later and the 3 hours planned for Revision of checkpoints could be shorter. As you see, coverage of points 2-6 were already considered or can be accommodated in the proposed agenda. Indeed, the presentation on revision of checkpoints shouldn't be shorter to make sure some of the points you mention are properly covered. The only tricky point is about the live demos. We believe that the 1h30 mins allocated for the demo of the application showing the encompassed usage of several FI-WARE GEs was fairly calculated. On the other hand, I believe that the introductory presentation (summary of status) and the presentation on "Summary of actions performed for deliverables resubmission" can be merged keeping them in 20 mins total. That way, we save almost one hour that can be used for reviewing the documentation of some of the GEs being used in the demo application as well as to carry out the separated demos on the Data/Context Management CEP and the IoT Gateway Data Handling CEP. We may need more time to present the current activities/roadmap of technical WPs, but we could short/drop the wrap-up at the end of the first day. We may also plan to move slots of some WPs to beginning of the second day if we run out of time. If that is the case, we may actually end Day 2 later, but let's keep the agenda of Day 2 as proposed, for the time being. The enclosed spreadsheet incorporates the above described changes. Please confirm it is ok. Last but not least, please confirm that a bridge with speakers for the remote demos on the additional FI-WARE GEs will be available for use at the meeting room.
