Dear Torsten,

I appreciate your answer.

I knew your proposal from the previous email received when we did the tracker review.
What I see is the tracker give me fields to express time and states, needed for backlog management, which I don't have in the wiki.
I understand the wiki as a "marketing" tool for the project.

I am also sorry for disagreeing to your view on considerations for User Story and WorkItem. User Story is for functionality and intrinsically identified for a timeframe - the sprint. It additionally needs to be scheduled in the backlog at the beginning of a sprint.
WorkItem is not about functionality, they are not necessarily attached to an Enabler (General/None), and can be added to the backlog anytime, even at the end of the sprint.

Torsten, I'm sorry for not taken on board your propositions for this proposal. If you still want to push them, it would need a formal and different proposal to be discussed and voted in the Management board (perhaps Juanjo or Miguel can comment on the right procedure) .

Dear Manuel,

I truly believe we should minimize the duplication the information in the Wiki and the Tracker. We know that duplication will lead to inconsistencies sooner or later. Therefore I would strongly suggest to only keep User Stories (and Work Items)  in the Tracker. They could have a link to the Feature/Epic in the Wiki. User Stories are a special kind of Work Items, there is not much difference besides the fact they are formulated a bit different.  My wish is: please make things as simple as possible and avoid any kind of duplicated information.

I'd like to share this proposal for improving the backlog with you.
Some aspects comes from your emails and phone calls held with you last month. I've already added some items.
Some steps are already undertaken, as the simplification of the wiki view.  Some others I'm already working on.

I wonder whether you would require a presentation/discussion where the proposal could be explained/clarified/enriched, meanwhile you can also send additional comments.
