Hi Thorsten, Let me add a clarification for the second question: I need to make a distinction between the modification introduced by removing themes, which goes in the proposal, and means little work to be implemented, and the issue arisen for not having followed the original naming rules, which I think is the main aspect of your question, and would suppose greater work. Having done this difference, I propose to deal with them differently. I mean first to keep and vote the proposal for improvement of the backlog on Monday, and second to identify an action plan to quantify and fix the issue arisen. As first step, for fixing the issue, I would extract all backlog items names to a spreadsheet and would ask you to order them according to their actual hierarchy; I would analyse the output and would determine the magnitude of changes. Afterwards, the management board could assess whether additional action would be affordable. I have pending a task to fix some items on the tracker database directly, if needed I could consider including this additional change within this pending task, anyway, first there's need to quantify the issue. I hope I clarified it properly, it's acceptable and we can go for approving the proposal. If anything, please, don't hesitate to let me know. Will with the jira-based trackers the chapter backlog vanish? When do we have the jira instance up and running? How will this process be implemented then? - As for the naming schema the proposal implies to incorporate a (mandatory) hierarchy: introducing epic-names in the nameing. This implies changes to many feature defined in the wiki (closed and open ones). For the apps chapter e.g. this would alone mean 152 page to be moved. The proposed naming schema is even longer than the currently used one (as the epic-named-description is part of implying this hierarchy). I would vote not do these proposed changes to the items already present in the wiki on a mandatory basis. The current set of features is reasonably "small" per GE that epics can be implied by a human being and the added value to given user is almost nothing (the mere improvement would be to improve traceability on the trackers, but this traceability is not even visible to the outside world). So if we need to decide if we take the time to move the 152 items (and more for the complete project) or introducing content which improves the readability of our website/wiki/GE-descriptions, work on the livedemonstrator or something else, I think the choice is easy. Any comments? Following the non-duplicity of information principle, the description field which is common to both the tracker and the wiki will only be reported in the wiki. Thanks Thorsten for all your comments and having taken the time!!! If anything, please, don't hesitate to let know.
