[Fiware-wpa] FW: Initial version of 10.5.2 validation report

Dear colleagues,

find attached the doc version of the D.10.5.2 deliverable which is due in M24. You can enter comments and text in the doc-version and I will integrate it later to the wiki and the final deliverable.



I would say, the document currently provides the mere basis of this report - e.g. in chapter 6 there is a really really small initial analysis more touching on how the general process of analysis and provisioning of answers did work and not providing a deep analysis of the answers given by the use case projects.

The reviewers might expect that this deliverable really assesses the complete validation process and summarizes the validation answers for each of the use cases and/or for each of the GEs. introduced.



As discussed in the WPL/WPA meeting, we will target to submit it - with your corrections - in time, and not doing a deep analysis.



It might be needed that we have the rationale behind this in-time-submission in the executive summary - so that reviewers can touch on this.

Rational I heard were (not phrasing it like this, just a summary for further :



-          Timing problems (rather go for development, than more papers)

-          Feedback from the UC projects was not very verbose, therefore there is not much to comment on

-          Feedback and all of the answers provided until "today" could be part of the review (in plain) - delaying the deliverable might lead to non of the answers being there "in time".



I'm as well attaching the excel table, which allows a more deeper analysis of the answers (With the help of "pivot"-tables there are quite nice things to do in order to analyse the resuts). You can play around with these tables on your own.



Our discussion was as well to have another relevant/potential chapter that

-          Every WPL gives a statement on "his" evaluation touching on

o   What got validated

o   Summarizes the validation answers for each of the use cases and/or for each of the GEs

o   Major actions the WP take

o   General assumption about the validation in relation to each of the use cases

-          Another chapter: e.g. could explain to a given reader of the document how to use these pivot tables in order to enable somebody to do this kind of "analysis" on his own.
