Hi,

  As you know, a FI-PPP Phase 2 negotiation workshop has taken place these two last days, Monday and Tuesday, in Brussels. I would like to call your attention regarding an urgent decision we have to take.

  As already agreed in Rome, we have pushed for planning a number of "Architecture" meetings with the UC projects. Here goes what has been agreed:

  * Setup a full-week Architecture Week on a week we have to decide (this is the URGENT decision to take, I will come to this later). This meeting should be prior to actual kick-off of UC Trial projects in phase 2. Description of meeting:
     * Who: Will involve architects from the UC Trial projects (actually, UC Trial representatives in the FI-PPP AB) and FI-WARE WPLs/WPAs. Indeed, it will be setup as an official first meeting of the FI-PPP AB for phase 2 of the FI-PPP at which the several FI-WARE WPLs/WPAs are invited.
     * How long: Meeting will be either the full week or from Monday 09:00am - Thursday 17:00
     *   Goals:
        * Analysis of UC Trial project architectures: Each UC project will present their Architecture, elaborating on what GEs they plan to use how so that FI-WARE can provide an early feedback, some recommendations can be provided and may be some joint actions may be identified
        * Onboarding/training of UC Trial projects: FI-WARE will elaborate on FI-WARE 2nd Release, Webinars planning (as well as any other training means), what the UC projects should know, what tools they should use to interact with FI-WARE, etc.
  * A final assessment of the UC Trial project architectures will take place during 1st half of September again during a full-week Architecture Week collocated together with a FI-PPP AB meeting. Goal would be to perform a final assessment of the Architecture that UC Trials plan to implement for the first "round" of trials they have planned within phase 2.
  * Follow-up of progress in between the two previous meetings may be required. Most probably such follow-up will take place during the virtual or f2f meetings of the FI-PPP AB to be planned during that period.

  Therefore, we have to decide on what week we should organize the first Architecture Week. Given the fact that a) some UC projects may have issues attending this meeting if costs are not yet eligible and b) the meeting has to be planned prior to actual kick-off of UC trials, we guess that there ware essentially three options:

  1. April 2-5 (given the fact that Monday April 1st is Eastern holidays)
  2.  April 8-11
  3. Split it into two weeks
     * one for UC trials that are kind of continuation from phase 2: 3 days during week of March 11-14, colocated with FI-PPP AB meeting that week
     * one for UC trials that are new on phase 2: 3 days during April 2-5

  Given the fact that it would be rather important that the FI-WARE WPAs have to attend this meeting (WPLs are welcome as well but it is not a must), I would like you to respond URGENTLY on the following doodle which of the three options work for you. I will close the doodle by tomorrow 17:00 so that we can communicate this to the EC. Meetings would be in Madrid:
