Hi all,

We also requested their support to re-plan the next FI-WARE Review to September this year.

We'll see how much flexible the EC can be in something that would clearly go for the sake of the project (and the program).

  Cheers,

-- Juanjo

Dear Arian and Peter,

As you know, we face a critical milestone with the delivery of the
2nd Release of FI-WARE and launching of the FI-WARE Open Innovation Lab
by end of July this year. The necessary concertation activities with
UC Trials in the beginning of phase 2 will also require a lot of our
attention during the May-August period.

Because of that, it is our strong suggestion that the next FI-WARE
Review takes place in September this year, rather than end of June or
beginning of July. As you know, preparation of a project review takes
a lot of effort, overall from coordinators and architects (of the WPs
and the whole project) including preparation of the necessary reports
and presentations, etc. We believe that attention of project and WP
Leaders and Architects should instead be focused on delivery of the
FI-WARE 2nd Release, the successful launch of the Open Innovation Lab
and the concertation activities with the UC Trial and the Capacity
Building projects during the May-August period. Last but not least,
having the review meeting in September may help to review all these
major milestones and activities into account for the review itself
because there would be a little to say in June-July about them.

We hope you'll support this idea we actually believe goes for the
sake of the FI-WARE project and the overall FI-PPP program.

  Best regards,

-- Juanjo Hierro
