[Fiware-wpa] OIL release related question to the PO

Hi Juanjo,

I'd like to potentially add to the background information on the potential email to the PO in relation to how "public" he sees the delivery of FI-WARE v2 the details below.



Overall this lead to my assumption that we are currently not _forced_ and therefore we can't internally really state that this is a milestone that is as fixed as you position it.

In the end you might be able to incorporate this a bit in the formal question to the PO.



In the end the resolution would be to internally and externally agree on:

-       D.10.2.b and M27 is a deadline which UC Trials will get access

-       Our plan is to release this one to the public in relation to the OIL endeavor towards beginning of Sept.

(even if I browse your current draft of "achievements" you state:  "The second major release of FI-WARE will be made available to UC projects working in the phase 2 of the FI-PPP from end of July 2013 in the FI-WARE Testbed and to third parties beyond the FI-PPP in a new environment referred as the FI-WARE Open Innovation Lab (OIL) to be launched early September 2013.  Both environments will be updated as results of minor releases within the third major release ...")

1.    The list of milestones in the DoW outlines availability of the Testbed in the M27 milestone mainly towards "UC Trials"







2.    WP11 - objectives



In addition to the technology provided by FI-WARE, the project will work towards the

establishment of an Open Innovation Lab around the FI-WARE testbed that may help third parties

and not just the Use Case projects, to test how innovative applications may be developed on top of

FI-WARE GEs. To maximize the impact of FI-WARE we will consider successful stories of user

involvement like the ones of ENoLL.



ð  This is another indication that the DoW actually does not completely resolve all relevant milestones and deadlines





3.       The 4th review report outlines:





ð  Reviewers actually do seem to not know a concrete "plan" on concrete dates and milestones or didn't expect it to be in M27, otherwise this paragraph wouldn't make much sense. I don't think that D12.2.3 or D.11.2.2 actually would present this plan, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
