Dear Pier, Indeed this is rather welcome !! Don't hesitate to contact Angeles from Ogilvy who can send you a list of materials whose design could be used (posters, infographics, etc) ... you would just need to print them locally. Let us know how much would it cost to produce those materials locally (just aproximately) and we may allocate funding for those costs in the next amendment we are now going to prepare. Margarita, also from Ogilvy, may help in promoting the events in Social Networks and the website ! I have added both Angeles and Margarita in copy of this email. I encourage other partners to setup similar events in their countries before end of the project. Preferably targeted to entrepreneurs/SMEs as a way to raise awareness on phase 3 of the FI-PPP. This is done in the framework of the activities of the 'Progetto Torino Smart City', and will showcase innovative ideas and proposals to make a city smarter, and citizens more aware of the opportunities it offers. We have promoted the inclusion of a FI-WARE and FI-Lab presentation, in conjunction with the newly engaged partner Torino Wireless (TOWL), into a lean gaming-workshop aiming at engaging citizens in the urban development of smart environments and scenarios, in conjunction with a local project named 's[m2]art' (which reads 'smart square meter'). The scenario proposals include also the citizens contribution to make a city safer, which is the main focus of the Municipality of Torino participation in FI-WARE. As said, this is a 'dynamic' event targeting mainly 'end-users', but we have managed to invite representatives of the Municipality, of universities (therefore audience will include students - future potential entrepreneurs, and maybe participants to further contests/challenges, if any in the future), as well as representatives of local SMEs. Moreover, with TOWL we have envisaged another set of dissemination opportunities at local/national/international level which we'd like to address as FI-WARE and its relationship with smart cities, that are: - Project OCOVA AlpMedNet Forum (http://www.ocova.eu/ June - Genoa - OCOVA involves Italian and French regions): In the two days event, issues such as interaction port / city / territory, technology and services for the health, environmental and energy sustainability, innovation and regional competitiveness will be dealt with and conferences, workshops, expo prototypes and demonstrators will be organized. The second day will be dedicated to innovation and opportunities for innovative start-ups. During a round table there will be a discussion on the opportunities that the different areas involved in the project are implementing to support innovation and start-ups. A person by TOWL will join the round table, hence there would be the possibility to launch a message about using FI-WARE and FI-Lab. - Polo ICT Corporate Meeting (July - Torino): this is a presentation and networking opportunity for regional ICT companies active on technologies including IoT, Cloud computing, Business Intelligence and Multimedia. Here a presentation slot could be devoted to FI-WARE. The events are organised by the Polo ICT (Piedmontese ICT Innovation Cluster), where TOWL is particularly active. Additionally, we're having contacts for possible inclusion in a Big data workshop to be held in Torino probably in July. If you don't have objections I'd exploit such opportunities, along with TOWL, to disseminate the FI-WARE word!
