Following my review of Security Chapter of D10.5.3 I noticed the following issues I’m asking you to fix:
• Content-based Security (CBS) has been tested and its tests are even been included in your report (on P51). This whereas it is reported as missing in the short intro of Section 3.5. So please correct.
this is already in the version i sent, i guess you did not checked it well ...
• Android vulnerability has been test and I re-attached to this email the report. So please add it and change introductory statement accordingly (remove it from the list of GE for which tests have not been delivered since they have for that GE).
first time you sent it. it was not in the zip file you sent me few weeks ago.
• Last but not least, KeyRock has also been tested and the tests results were sent to you already (see attached email). For your convenience, I’ve just reattached to this email. So please add it to the list and yes remove it from the introductory list where this one (whereas key) was reported as missing.

• Morphus has been delivered as a service as such it should not be part of the list of the GEs to be tested. So please remove it from the list
i simply followed what you wpl leaders wrote in the excel spreadsheet, please not that i updated it many times, reading your test reports and this was also true for security. check the original and the one in the d10.5.3 and you'll get it.
so please be moderate, we are all in the same team, or not????

Hereafter is the redrafted of the text I would propose. Feel free to adapt ..
3.5 Security, Privacy and Trust Chapter
Most of the GEs have been tested. Only two were not namely Flowoid (Android Flow Monitoring) and IoT Fuzzer (6LowFuzzer) which were supposed to be tested by Orange.
However, both (Flowoid and IoT Fuzzer) are optional GEs and not core GEs and, are not part of the FIWARE Catalogue since Release 4.
Counting now on you to update Security section of D10.5.3 accordingly.

i'm resending this email as the status and progress, but wp3, is on installation and testing of gei is extremely little as you can check from the "installation and test cockpit" i have created at https://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/testbed/index.php/Testbed_V3_Installation_and_Test_aka_D10.5.3
in some cases, as you can see in https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqLSWp0KXaaDdDBPb2gwYm11aUVQZzBPU3ZZZHowREE&usp=docslist_api#gid=0), data are not at all provided (wp4, wp5 and wp8).
i urge action from all of you. indeed as you migth remeber this task should be completed by the end of this month as agreed during a wpl/wpa call. 30 of june is approaching quite fast. I'd like to stress the fact, as you can see from the reports in the cockpit, that not all the feedback are positive and that actions were needed to be implemented by the ge owners to get a successful installation.
of course, if by chance, i have missed reports you already sent, please re-send to me and get my apologises.

as discussed yesterday during our call and refined this morning in the wp10 call, here is the procedure to install and test the geis as requested in the scope of recommendation 18 of the review report 6 excerpt of which is “Obviously, hardly any of the documentation can claim completeness in the remaining time, but should at least cover all known grounds. To this end, extensive and directed installation and usage tests should be performed – not only through the Use Case projects, but also within the consortium. For example, partners not involved in the development of a specific Generic Enabler can verify it through installation and testing. The according results and findings should be incorporated in the forthcoming Release 3 and the validation reporting of deliverable D10.5.3.”
the wpl migth already have received at this time an invitation from me to access a googledoc (here again the link for your convenience: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqLSWp0KXaaDdDBPb2gwYm11aUVQZzBPU3ZZZHowREE&usp=docslist_api#gid=0)
this doc contains all the geis implemented at the moment or in the very near future.
1. each wpl must, within this friday (11 april 2014), fill, in agreement with their wp participants, the name of the organisation responsible for installing a testing a specific gei. in addition the wpl should declare which geis will be tested. the overal rules are:
1.1 no geis of wp4 for what concerns fi-lab installation and test
1.2 only the geis of wp7 which do not require special network environment
1.3 no geis for which do not exist an oss version
2. within 25 april 2014 all the installations and tests must be completed either by the organisations leaving the project at m36, and by those organisation if a test assigned to them involve a gei owned by an organisation leaving the project at m36.
3. all the remaining installations and tests must be fulfilled by 30 june 2014.
the installation and tests must be documented using the form described in the attached document.
please note that, as you can easily guess from point 1 above, there are two different kind of installations to be tested:
1. manual deplyoment, which involves all oss released geis
2. recipes supported deployment in the fi-ware testbed. this case the person making the test must create a vm, which should be removed immediately after the installation and test is completed (due to the obvious resource cosumption)
it would be great if the persons who will make the installation and tests are completely outside the fi-ware environment.
this procedure refines and superseeds what sent by thorsten, thank you for triggering the process, on last wednesday.
