Dear Juan [WP11 leader], Nuria [member of the steering board], dear Juanjo [project leader],
CC: FIWare-PCC (please forward as I fear this mail will not go there directly or fiware-wpl is wrong)

we got aware of the reviewer comments through the email on May 14.

In attached file, you find an analysis of the identified issues
and proposed actions. We have identified the persons/groups
who need to act. This ranges from PM/TM/PCC to WPLs or WPs.

More important in our opinion is the following...

FI-WARE is a highly ambitious project and has made a lot of promises what it wants to
achieve. Standardization has been among it and EU have always put emphasize on it.
Nevertheless, observation is that Standardization is somehow "last in line" for contributions.
However the EC clearly expects Standardization to be part of the _strategy_ for making FI-WARE a
global success. They rightly complain that such a vision/intention is not seen in the project. The attached
actions plan lists some formal steps which would help _implement_ such a vision.
Those steps will be unsuccessful however unless the PCC and WPLs and partners all agree on the goal:
make FI-WARE part of international standards. This can only happen with your leadership, shown at
teleconferences, in next face-to-face meetings, as well as in organizing the project.

NEC is happy to support executive management and PCC. We try to provide suggestions.
Can we arrange a 60 minute teleconf with you on this topic?

We kindly ask PM, TM and PCC for especially handling the aspects that need handling
on the overall project level. We also ask kindly the WPLs as representatives of their
work package to organize this work and help ensuring proper input in time.
Please put this topic on the next PCC or WPL/WPA meeting.

One more request to project leader team:
"Please ask the commission if D11.4a needs to be re-submitted, or if it is intended
that all criticisms be addressed in the next version. There were two differing
comments in the report."

Kind regards
Lindsay and Ernö
