During those workshops, each UC Trials should elaborate on the Technical Architecture they plan to implement and their initial plans to use FI-WARE GEs and develop Domain-specific Common Enablers. This way, we may carry out a first high-level review of their Architecture and provide some early recommendations about usage of FI-WARE GEs that may be taken into account in the DoWs of the UC Trial projects. This would go for the sake of using the most of FI-WARE, which I understand you agree would be highly desirable in order to meet the overall goals of the FI-PPP. We want to avoid scenarios where a UC Trial project is not considering incorporating some FI-WARE GEs but planning to develop alternative ones (because of lack of knowledge or own agenda/vision). It would be great if we can introduce in the DoW of every UC Trial project some explicit requirements on what are the FI-WARE GEs which, as a minimum, each UC Trial project should try to incorporate in its Architecture. I believe the schedule for this workshops should be one of the topics for the negotiation workshop that will take place on Feb 4th-5th. If you agree, it maybe we a good idea to anticipate this to them prior to the workshop so that they can arrive with some candidate dates for these bilateral workshops with FI-WARE. Hopefully, some of these workshops can be allocated the same week, thus minimizing trips from FI-WARE architects. We may eventually volunteer to host some of these workshops in Madrid. What do you think ? We look for your valuable feedback.
