Hi all,

  Last thursday we meet with Startup Weekend and we run a coaching/training session of the person who will act as evangelist of FI-WARE on Startup Weekend events. As you know, Startup Weekend recently joined our consortia and is planning a number of events for disseminating FI-WARE among entrepreneurs.

  In their current short-term list of Startup Weekend events, there are several events planned in June:

  *   Bergen, Norway - June 6-8
  *   Liege, Belgium - June 13-15
  *   Berlin, Germany - June 20-22

  It was agreed that it would be highly beneficial to setup some webinars on key FI-WARE GEris in advance to this events so that people attending them can even consider trying to use the technologies and FI-Lab during the event.

  Despite this announcement may come too short in time, we agreed that the best choice would be to setup these webinars on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

  Telefónica I+D is ready to run webinars on BigData (Cosmos) and Context Broker (Orion) and maybe the IoT Backend Device Management (DCA). I contacted the team of Javier Soriano and URJC/Naveatec and they confirmed that they could arrange things to give a webinar on Wirecloud and Kurento, respectively.

  Any other could join ?

  * @Philipp: I definitively would go for a webinar on the advanced Web-based UI enablers (3D and AR capabilities).
  * @Sergio: I would suggest that you at least suggest this to IBM for the CPE.
  * @Alex: can someone organize one just focused on giving a demo on capabilities offered through the Cloud portal?
  * @Thierry/Carlos: something that may help to explain how to easily connect to IoT devices?
  * rest of chapters are welcome but not rather critical IMHO.

  @Davide:

  * I would need you to sync with the organizers of each webinar to setup an agenda. Contacts for the already confirmed ones (already in copy of this mail):
     *   Javier Soriano <jsoriano at fi.upm.es><mailto:jsoriano at fi.upm.es> - Wirecloud
     *   Luis López URJC - <luis.lopez at urjc.es><mailto:luis.lopez at urjc.es> - Kurento
     *   FERMIN GALAN MARQUEZ <fermin at tid.es><mailto:fermin at tid.es> - Orion
     *   FRANCISCO ROMERO BUENO <frb at tid.es><mailto:frb at tid.es> - Cosmos
     *   CARLOS RALLI  <ralli at tid.es><mailto:ralli at tid.es> - DCA
  * What platform should we use for the webinars? I heard some complains regarding the one that was used last time but maybe it is a matter of configuration ...
  * Can you organize how we could record them and register them as contents in the e-learning platform? Again, I have heard that the webinars of the last time were not recorded ...
  * Please send me the final agenda so that I can forward it to Startup Weekend. This would be urgent.

  Best regards,

-- Juanjo
