[Fiware] Candidature for the FIWARE TSC

Dear all,

I hereby announce my candidature to the FIWARE Technical Steering Commitee (TSC) as an Individual representative.

I have been involved in FIWARE since phase 2, within the FI-STAR use case project where I lead the test and quality WP which resulted in the EHR-EN Specific Enabler passing the IHE health certification  [1]. This enabler is now in use by several SMEs.

Over the last 2 years, a large part of my time has been devoted to the technical coaching of phase 3 SMEs, being in charge of FICHe and FI-C3 accelerators. I am quite happy to see that among the 15 SMEs nominated within the VIP program, 5 are from my pool :) !

While FIWARE offer significantly matured over the past months, I am convinced that for a successful future, it still needs to create market trust and confidence so the community can develop. For that to happen, the FIWARE NGSI specification, which is a core value in FIWARE, needs now to position itself  within the standardisation landscape, where it could fill some interoperability gaps between the IoT, the open data and the big data worlds. This would be one of my initial support to the FIWARE community.
